I have been practicing somatic psychotherapy for over 20 years. My work is grounded in bioenergetic analysis — a method that understands the body not as a vessel for the mind, but as the field where emotional history is written.
I teach at the Institute of Bioenergetic Analysis and run training programs for therapists who want to work with depth and precision. In 2023, I published the textbook Aggression and Character — the first comprehensive Russian-language guide to working with aggression in somatic psychotherapy.
I believe that therapy should be both rigorous and humane. That a session can be scientifically grounded and, at the same time, a place where something fundamentally human happens.

The Repetition We Cannot See
We do not repeat painful patterns because we are self-destructive. We repeat them because they are familiar — and familiarity feels like safety.

Alexandra’s approach changed how I understand the therapeutic process. She teaches not technique, but a way of seeing — and that is far more valuable.

The textbook on aggression should be on every somatic therapist’s shelf. It is rare to find a book that is both theoretically rigorous and clinically useful.

I came to supervision burned out and doubting my path. Alexandra has a gift for helping you find what is solid in your work without losing what is human.
